John Cleworth

An Australian-born, John has for nearly a decade been studying and working in London, Berlin, and now Copenhagen. From a very early age, he developed an appreciation for music and quality of sound, subsequently studying drum set, taiko (Japanese drums), percussion, piano, harmony, counterpoint and composition. His upbringing and formal training has led to his development of a broad knowledge and deep understanding of music.

Other than his work as a composer, he also works in the field of classical recording and the world of innovative recording techniques, including Immersive Audio, and Dolby Atmos. Having graduated as a tonmeister (sound engineer) his musical and technical skills are diverse, giving him a multifaceted insight into sound and music.

John is deeply passionate about all genres of music, and this is evident in his work in the avant-garde/New Music scene, to his live trance sets for the club dance-floor.
