Our DSB

The task was to compose a piece of music that could serve as an emotional soundtrack for the launch of a new DSB film: Our DSB.

The composition blended human elements – people singing, humming, and whistling the DSB melody, D – Eb – Bb, all supported by an authentic DSB train beat. Sonic Minds conducted field recordings of DSB trains, capturing the opening and closing of doors, trains passing by, the sound of brakes, and the conductor’s whistle. These sounds were used to create the beat.
